How We Work

Composite Construction was recently hired by myself as a subcontractor on a construction project. Their scope of work was furnish and install FRP (fiber reinforced polymer) concrete repairs. The goal of this project was to increase shear strength of girders on three bridges …. Composite Construction supplied materials and field personnel to install about 7,500 SF of FRP in multiple layers. Their crews met the project schedule and completed all work correctly without corrections. Pull off tests were completed to prove out their work.  Composite Construction was aware of federal aid contracting requirements and other requirements such as insurance and contractor quality control. They supplied certified payrolls on time and we had no issues with their superintendence or crew.  I recommend Composite Construction for prequalification as a contractor for public works projects.
Composite Construction performed a repair project concerning the condensate receiver deck in the central heating and cooling plant here at the main campus.  Their work ethic permitted the timely repair and installation of a carbon fiber structural rehabilitation that will prolong the service life of this critical return basin.  This project was expeditiously performed under tough conditions in a limited access basement, this fix will stop any further corrosion and degradation of the deck surface.  The Polymer concrete repair and carbon fiber strengthening saved weeks of work as it cured rapidly and furthermore will not allow further erosion of the deck as would be by a common concrete repairs.  We were very satisfied with details carried out by all the crew members and supervisory staff.
